Seattle University’s Vietnamese Student Association gets involved in the Tet in Seattle Community Holiday Food Drive 2010 by donating cases of Mi Goi as well as money. Part of VSA-SU’s mission statement is to encourage the benefits of cultural diversity and also the culture of Vietnam. This is done in part by building a stronger relationship with the Vietnamese community, as well with Seattle University and the local community.
Tin Bui, VSA-SU’s President, said: “Seattle’s University’s VSA is dedicated to acting as the liaison to connect the youth with the Vietnamese community. Our current goal is to keep a spirit of service as we work together as a team and build a generation of leaders for tomorrow.”
